Terms and Conditions for the $2,500 Bitcoin Giveaway Competition
1. Introduction
- These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the $2,500 Bitcoin Referral Draw Competition ("$2,500 Bitcoin Referral Competition") organised by bitcoin.com.au ("the Company").
- By participating in the Competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Eligibility

The Competition is open to all users who:
- Are aged 18 years or over.
- Are Australian residents.
- Have successfully signed up to bitcoin.com.au with referral code

and verified their identity.
- Employees of the Company, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Competition.
3. How to Enter

To enter the Competition, participants must refer a friend using their unique referral code. The referred friend must:
- Sign up for an account on the Company's platform.
- Complete the identity verification process.

. - Only 1 "one" entry per person is allowed.
4. Competition Period
- The Competition will run from 15th September 6AM AEST 2024 until 15th of November 11:59PM AEDT 2024.
5. Competition Draw
- The draw will take place on the 19th of November at 3:00 PM (Sydney local time).
- One winner will be selected from all eligible entries using a government-approved random draw system based on the participants' unique user IDs.
- The winner will receive $2,500 worth of Bitcoin, which will be credited to their bitcoin.com.au account. This prize cannot be substituted for cash.
6. Notification of Winner
- The winner will be notified via the email address registered with their account within 48 hours of the draw.
- If the winner does not claim their prize within 7 business days of the notification being sent, the prize will be forfeited, and a new winner will be drawn from the remaining eligible entries.
7. General Conditions
- The Company reserves the right to verify the eligibility of participants and to disqualify any participant who has not complied with these Terms.
- The Company reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Competition or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the Company's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Competition.
- The Company's decision in all matters related to the Competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
8. Privacy
- By participating in the Competition, participants agree to the collection and use of their personal information by the Company for the purposes of administering the Competition and awarding the prize.
- The Company will handle personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
- The Company is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, technical failures, unauthorised human intervention, or any other factor that may affect the operation or outcome of the Competition.
- To the extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the Competition or the use of the prize.
10. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, and participants agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
